Kolarctic Food Refining CBC Project status update

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Мurmansk region in collaboration with Finnish and Russian partners, has been successfully implementing the Kolarctic Food Refining CBC Project for the second year. January 13-17, 2020 in Lovozero it was conducted another important project event - training of SHPK "Tundra" slaughtering specialists and Murmansk region veterinarians and the seminar "Practice of fulfilling the requirements of the EU legislation in venison' exporting ". Maiju Okkonen, representative of the Murmansk office of the Consulate General of Finland in St. Petersburg, made a welcoming speech to the project participants. The Finnish professors of the Lapland Higher Professional School, Kirsi Muuttoranta and Carolina Mayuri have conducted training on the program "Technology and hygiene of slaughter and venison butchering." The course was consisted of 24 hours and contained of the theoretical and practical work on deer slaughtering. Based on the attestation results, 17 specialists have received certificates, which were handed by Ari Huhtala, project manager of the Kolarctic Food Refining CBC Project.
