Reindeer meat processing

Study visit in Lovozero, Savukoski, Kemijärvi and Pohjasperä/Ranua

Representatives from Nenetsi Autonomous Okrug – from the reindeer cooperative Put' Ilyicha, from the Centre of International Cooperation and Sustainable Development of the Arctic, from the North-West Centre of Interdisciplinary Researches of Food Security Issues and from the Department of Natural resources, ecology and agricultural establishments – made a study and negotiation visit 3. – 7.3.2019 to Lovozero in Murmansk region and to Savukoski, Kemijärvi and Pohjasperä/Ranua in the Finnish Lapland. The Russian leading specialist in veterinary items connected with the reindeer meat and meat products export was also included in the visiting group. The aim of the visit was to give information to the Nenets guests about the reindeer slaughtering, meat handling and refining at the cooperative Tundra in Lovozero and to show the Finnish way and methods of reindeer meat product developing, refining and marketing. An important theme in the programme was the hygiene requirements of the European Union for the meat and processed meat products, imported to EU from outside the EU.

The Nenets guests were very pleased with the programme and got lot of valuable information and many ideas during the trip.

Tutustumis- ja neuvottelukäynti Lovozerossa, Savukoskella, Kemijärvellä ja Pohjasperä/Ranualla

Nenetsian Autonomisesta piiristä – Poro-osuuskunta Put' Ilyichasta, Centre of International Cooperation and Sustainable Development of the Arctic ja North-West Centre of Interdisciplinary Researches of Food Security Issues sekä Nenetsian Autonomisen Piirin Maatalousministeriöstä – kävi 3. – 7.3.2019 edustajia tutustumis- ja neuvottelumatkalla Murmanskin alueen Lovozerossa sekä Savukoskella, Kemijärvellä ja Ranuan Pohjasperässä. Matkaan osallistui myös johtava venäläinen asiantuntija poronlihan vientilupaasioissa Euroopan Unioniin. Matkan tarkoituksena oli esitellä nenetsi-vieraille Poro-osuuskunta Tundran porojen teurastus-, lihankäsittely- ja lihanjalostustoimintaa sekä lisäksi esitellä suomalaista poronlihatuotteiden tuotekehystyötä ja menetelmiä, poronlihan jalostusta ja markkinointia. Tärkeä osa ohjelmaa oli tutustuminen Euroopan Unionin kolmansista maista tuotaviin poronlihalle ja poronlihatuotteille asetettaviin vaatimuksiin.

Nenetsivieraat olivat erittäin tyytyväisiä vierailuohjelmaan ja matkan aikana saamiinsa arvokkaisiin tietoihin ja ideoihin.

Учебная поездка в Ловозеро, Savukoski, Kemijärvi and Pohjasperä/Ranua

Представители от Ненецкого Автономного Округа – от оленеводческого кооператива Путь Ильича, от Центра международного сотрудничества и устойчивого развития Арктики, от Северо-Западного центра междисциплинарных исследований проблем продовольственного обеспечения и от Департамента природных ресурсов, экологии и агропромышленного комплекса Ненецкого автономного округа – совершили учебно-переговорную поездку с 3 – 7.3.2019 в Ловозеро в Мурманской области, то Савукоски, Кемиярви и Похйасперя/Рануа в Финской Лапландии. Также в составе посещающей группы был ведущий специалист из России по ветеринарным вопросам, касающимся экспорта оленины и мясных продуктов оленя. Целью поездки являлось предоставление информации гостям из Ненецкого округа об убое оленей, обработке и переработке мяса в кооперативе Тундра в Ловозеро и наглядное представление финского пути и методов развития, переработки и маркетинга мясных продуктов из оленины. Важной темой в программе были гигиенические требования Европейского Союза, касающиеся мясных и переработанных мясных продуктов, импортируемых в ЕС из стран, не входящих в состав ЕС.

Гости из Ненецкого Автономного Округа остались очень довольны программой и получили много ценной информации и много идей в течении поездки.
